In music circles, Tom is well known for writing and playing his own original tunes.
He has always been drawn to the poignant composition “From Clare to Here” written by Ralph McTell. Tom recently decided to record his own version of this heartfelt song. The lyrics narrate the emotional journey and struggles encountered by those who depart their homeland in search of better opportunities, with a particular focus on Irish immigrants in England. The thoughts in this song also serve to symbolize anyone who may be physically and emotionally missing their loved ones throughout the year.
