I caught you, Rod, Colin, Jim and Steve last night at the Howard Theater in Washington, DC - aww good show my friend! I was into every second of it, and so was the rest of the crowd - you and the boys sound great!
Your playing is superb - absolutely beautiful.
And how about that Left Banke?! What a great split bill. I so hope you guys tour with them again - the perfect pairing of two great bands, yowza.

I saw you guys Friday night in Largo Florida. The start of the night was a typical "I don't feel like going out tonight" . Thank god I fought through those feelings to witness one of the best shows I have seen in a long time.

Message: I saw the gig at the Green Hotel in Kinross. Fantastic! The whole band is superb but as a guitarist myself I was paying particular attention to your playing and your tap dancing on the pedal board! Great sound from each guitar. But now I can't use the excuse that I don't have time to change guitars between songs. I will try to catch the Zombies next time around in Scotland. Thank you for a great night.

Message: For nearly 50 years I have loved almost everything that Colin Blunstone has done. So I go to see him live with his band - and see Tom Toomey for the first time. Fantastic guitarist - worth the admission on his own. We praise him loudly to the strangers sitting next to us - and discover they are friends of Tom. Not just a truly great guitarist but so versatile too. Hope to catch him on his World Music concert in April.
